Germany and Spain aren't rioting or toppling their governments, but their consumers also are in full civil revolt against high energy prices resulting from green subsidies.
This whole "jack up energy prices to save the planet" thing isn't going well in Europe.
So far Americans seem to be sucking it up. Gas prices are way up here, and it's largely because of government interference either with procurement of oil, or with (and more particularly with) making refining less available and thus more expensive.
