We definitely have fires tonight, both on the hearth and in the furnace. It's 9 degrees, with wind chills to -15.
Colder than Wisconsin for a change...May the season bring joy.
Wow, that is cold! Our skinny shorthair pup (okay, old lady now at 13 1/2) certainly like to warm, her bones by the fire, too. A good fire in the fireplace and a good dog at the hearth is a good thing indeed.Merry Christmas to all!
We had to open windows to get away with our fire. The front has passed through here and left behind balmy sunny weather.
