This is said to be a medieval tune, but I haven't heard it before in decades of listening to early music. It's got an interesting structure, and I had no idea that you could do the trick with the backwards cranking of the hurdy-gurdy.
I like that one. Then, I also very much like cello music, and the back-and-forth technique on the hurdy-gurdy is essentially replicating the reciprocal motion of a bowed string instrument, in lieu of the normal constant of the rotary motion of the hurdy gurdy 'bow'.

Looking at this guy's stuff on bandcamp, I suspect that this is a medieval inpired tune, rather than an actual medieval tune. Pretty enough though.
