I have gone over seldom the last month because I am off the news, but she has been a regular stop of mine. She was a left-libertarian and is still quite liberal in areas, but she is extremely aware of the media bias and the sly wording the Times and the Post use.
I know you don't listen to podcasts, but you have to drive in the car or work in the garage sometime, and you can't read or watch a screen then. The last three Great Books episodes over at National Review are 182. Nicomachean Ethics by Aristotle, 181. Once an Eagle by Anton Myrer, and 180. The Power and the Glory by Graham Greene. On all three I thought about how much you specifically would find them valuable discussions. They go about 30 minutes each.

ReplyDeleteIt's kind of you to think of me. I'll start with the one on the EN and see how it goes.
