I hear the President has invited Rush Limbaugh to the SOTU and plans to award him a Medal of Freedom.
Good if true. Limbaugh has done much in the field of civic education about ordinary conservative thought.
It was true, and somehow they kept it from him. He may well die now, ugly and alone, but he'll die knowing that he meant something to many.
It was a good speech.
What I'm seeing is that the speech was popular, but what made the biggest impression was Nancy Pelosi tearing up her copy at the end.Mad enough to throw her toys out of the pram. Tomorrow will be humiliating for her.
Pettiness and petticoats; they don't have to go together, but if you put them together on your own, it's only yourself that you have to blame.
