Qudosi

I happen to know Shireen Qudosi, the Muslim activist apparently permanently banned from Facebook this weekend.
The spat originated after Qudosi stood up for Clarion Project’s National Security Analyst Ryan Mauro, who provided training in San Diego to various police departments last week on what to be aware of when fighting radical Islam.

Mauro was subjected to a silencing campaign by the Muslim Brotherhood-linked Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), which attempted to shut down the training sessions by inundating the police with complaints. CAIR was founded by Muslim Brotherhood members and was designated by the FBI as an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation trial, the largest terrorism financing trial in American history.

CAIR was designated as a terrorist organization in 2014 by the United Arab Emirates.
Qudosi is an American woman who believes that her native Islam can be reformed to respect international norms about women's rights and personal liberty. I think she's got a hard row to hoe, but I also think that if Islam is to survive it's going to have to make the kind of transition she wants for it. Banning her voice isn't going to help Islam, not in the long run nor even probably in the short run.

Because Islam and the Leftist alliance senses weakness in their enemies, they will not utilize the "wise" decision. Because you and others have not taught them to do otherwise, using power, the only language they can understand.

They believe because they can do what they wish with the FBI in this country, that they are right. Who has proven them wrong then? Until they are chastised and punished for their infractions, what use do they have for wisdom?

And they said the United States of Islam novel was fictional... perhaps.

  3. You're sounding unusually level-headed today, Ymar. I'm not sure that's your fault.

I wonder where CAIR gets its money? It lost all of its support from American Muslims by 2007, after it had clearly descended into radicalism. I find it hard to believe that any of them came back, because CAIR has not improved.

CAIR is probably not an American organization.

To Grim: Whose fault is it then.

CAIR is probably not an American organization.

I don't think it ever was. Sort of like Code Pink or MoveOn being grassroots organizations of voters that decided to self organize. That was the fiction, yes, and the fiction requires some kind of cover, but these days all kinds of covers are falling off of certain organizations associated with Islam and the Leftist alliance.

  6. Gee, and Facebook was saying it was correcting its...imbalance.

Oh, wait--they're only taking some of the human "editors" out of the process and automating the bias instead.

The above comment was deleted by me to correct a bad link.

I don't think their intent is to help Islam. It's to help themselves and their faction to accumulate and retain power. Silencing a dissenter has this effect; that's why they do it, not out of concern for what's going to happen to the religion of Islam or to Muslims in the future.

Islam is a weapon to them, not something worthy of protection in itself.
