The Corps should invite him for a VIP close-up and personal experience of a day in the life of a Marine at a COP in Afghanistan. That would make for some good PR.
Actually, that is taken somewhat out of context. The Armorer posted a link on his FB the other day: the "Afghanistan" quote is something his lawyer said, not Cruise, but he did say that being away from his daughter while on location was hard. For any decent father, I don't think you can fault him for saying that.
