I had thought the Serbian 'color revolution' attempt had collapsed, but
a 'student led' coalition swept the elections. Likewise in Brazil,
an unexpected sudden surge (following a judge keeping the election counting going after the deadline) kept the Communists in power after what looked like a clear and predictable victory for the more right-wing faction. Parallel: Brazil's
stock market collapses by a similar margin.
Buckle up, I guess. The Brazilians are
fighting.

Oh, I don’t know if I believe that anyone was actually voting. I think it was time past close to know how many fake votes were needed, and get them counted.
DeleteYou could well be right, but it is my opinion that people actually "voted." I believe I had read that back in the day, Chavismo in Venezuela would extend voting hours so that their chosen people could come in and vote (vote again?).
ReplyDeleteChavismo had very complete records of who and who had not voted, so they could assemble busloads on demand.
Why did they have complete records? Because they looked at the government records of who and who had not voted. Since they viewed government as another branch of the Chavista party (PODEMOS?), they considered it a lawful exercise.

claim the vote totals aren't mathing.
Bolsonaro's coalition won a convincing majority in the Brazilian Parliament about 20 days ago. The eliminated candidates got a total of 9.3 million votes in the first round. Bolsonaro gained about 3.7 million votes between the 1st and 2nd rounds. Lula gained *10.2* million.
Also, per Instapundit again, Bolsonaro has been ordered to hand in his passport.
ReplyDelete"The Brazilians are fighting" he says:

Esses gatos were fast as lightning
In fact it was a little bit frightening ...
Jokes aside, may God defend the right in Brazil and everywhere. Our own elections are coming up soon.
