New Frontiers on 2A

West Virginia has decided to open a government agency to sell machineguns to its citizens. This happens to be legal under the existing Federal gun control laws, which exempt transfers "by a state" from their system.

Georgia is considering a new law to reinforce "Stand your Ground" by making it an affirmative defense at arraignment as well as trial, and creating immunity to civil lawsuits by the families of people you shot if you are found to have used it lawfully.

I guess if we're going to see plays like the one in Virginia, where winning a majority once means an attempt to push every kind of gun control known to man, the other side has to play offense as well.

Sounds great! Wonder if they will take orders for a Super Tucano with a couple minigun pods. It is a machine gun, just with a aircraft attached. ;>)
Really, every rural community ought to have a squadron for the militia.

I shudder to imagine what would happen if the guys who fly the USMC B-25 Devil Dog were able to get real machine guns. They'd have waaaaaaayyyy too much fun!

  2. A buck a round is bad enough, $3+ per trigger pull sounds painful.

    1. Looks like the "Devil Dog" has 12 .50's. At a cyclic rate of 800 rpm, and $ 3 a round, that is $480 per second of trigger time.

    2. Yeah, militia service probably mostly entails semiautomatics just for funding reasons. We can't afford to spray it around like the Feds; every shot needs to be aimed.

Don't be ridiculous- the funding is easy, all we gotta do is open a couple learing centers.
