I am at last about to put my heavy-coated 90-lb foster dog Louis into transport for a new home in the mountains near Denver, where the climate will suit him much better. We've had what I called unpleasantly wet, cold weather here recently, but he apparently thinks it's great--even went into the swimming pool unbidden. I hope snow will be a wonderful new experience for him, not to mention the company of the lovely family with kids and other dogs.
