The Finns were bracing for trouble this summer while I was there. I saw a number of Swedish and other troopers in Helsinki, on their way for joint training and maneuvers. I think they're rediscovering that while social harmony and "going along to get along" works at home, the neighbors do not always agree.
Well, turns out the Finns are opening up 300 new gun ranges to further encourage proficiency among their populous. Very nice. https://www.newsweek.com/more-gun-ranges-finland-amid-rising-fears-russian-threat-2003339
