piece by David Strom is preaching to the choir, I know, but the final video is Schadenfreude in a bottle. Expert Dem analyst Dr. Arlene deleted her account shortly after the election, so I'm afraid we won't get to watch her updated post-election thoughts. Her cackle rivals that of Harris and Clinton.
When I see things like that video, or this mockery of the Gadsden flag, I feel a lot less bad about their emotional turmoil.

My own Schadenfreude is replaying Conan's remark about what is best in life--and hearing the lamentations of the...pressmen.

As a Christian, I am constantly admonished by the Left to forgive them for what they did to sexually confused immature children, to the border, to political prisoners still being held in jail, to peoples freedom of speech & assembly...the list goes on.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry, I can't.

I’m not a priest, so I will refrain from discussing what one should do “as a Christian.” However, I’m reminded of Ivanhoe:
Delete“Conquest, lady, should soften the heart,” answered De Bracy; “let me but know that the Lady Rowena forgives the violence occasioned by an ill-fated passion, and she shall soon learn that De Bracy knows how to serve her in nobler ways.”
“I forgive you, Sir Knight,” said Rowena, “as a Christian.”
“That means,” said Wamba, “that she does not forgive him at all.”
Dr. Arlene Unfiltered has a YouTube channel that now explains why the vote went as badly as it did. Just tell people what they want to hear loudly, and you will be regarded as a prophet even when you are consistently wrong.
ReplyDeleteI wonder where and when Dr. Arlene taught. I wager she was just an adjunct.
ReplyDeleteFor what it's worth, here's more information on Dr. Arlene. Smile wiped off face of cackling professor who bought champagne to toast Kamala win Dr Arlene Battishill
