Georgia-Georgia Tech

Clean, old-fashioned hate had a banner year. Georgia beat Tech after being down 17 points at halftime, tying it up in the fourth quarter, and then going to eighth overtime to win 44-42.

Tech isn’t even ranked. Georgia has been ranked as high as #1, currently #6. This victory is not too far from Alabama losing to Vanderbilt, which they did this year.

2024 has been an interesting year.

  1. We turned on the game to watch the end of the 4th quarter and wow! That was a lot of fun. I hope the Iron Bowl is as exciting.

  2. My friends at Texas A&M, which has had a good but uneven year, would say the same.

It's a great advertisement for having a playoff system.

    1. Yeah that was quite an upset. Ohio State didn’t appreciate losing at home to an unranked rival — like UGA almost did — and then Michigan fans rushed the field to plant their flag in the 50-yard line “O.”
