On a fine fall day, these mountains (and their valleys) are pretty much magic.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous. The numbers on the trail map- they don't seem to be trail segment lengths in miles, as I'm used to seeing- perhaps trail or road numbers?
ReplyDeleteYes, the trails are numbered as well as named. We were on trail 27, which runs through the canyon to and through the Alaska Basin.
