Great collar and a nice dog-sized dog. I'll be spending Thanksgiving with a school of pugs. I've met them before and I'm always scared I'll step on one or trip over one.
On a recent walk I saw a man walking his German Shepherd pup. I asked how old the pup was, and was told 7 months. The pup still exhibited puppy-like friendliness as opposed to the wary guardian instincts of an adult.
Seven months? Yes, he's got filling in to do. When I was a kid we had a fantastic GS, she got up to right around 100 pounds. Absolutely magnificent animal, in every way. Loyal and protective to her core, and a stone cold killer. Once when she was young, a skunk wandered into our yard somehow, despite the fence. She, not knowing better, took a full blast square to the face. She then ripped the skunk into several pieces about the yard. After that, a handful wandered into the yard over the years, thinking they could defend themselves. She killed all of them without ever being hit with a drop of spray. No fooling her twice.
Remarkably LONG
