Babylon Bee has good suggestions for how to get rid of the Vaccine Evangelist who comes to your door.
I found decades ago that a polite and painless way of getting rid of anyone at my front door was to smile pleasantly and explain that I don't discuss [whatever] with people I don't know well. It goes along with Miss Manners's advice to answer impertinent questions with "How soon do you need to know?"
Now that's weird. It says I wrote this, but clearly this is a Tex post. (Although I also admire Miss Manners' advice on many subjects.) I'll try to fix it.

ReplyDeleteI don't think they'll really send people around, but the actual point to press is that if they can do that they can also use the opportunity to ensure that every voting citizen in the house has a chance to obtain proper ID.

If they answer that with an indication that they know, take their picture (you do have your cell ready and armed, yes?), and advise them they've violated HIPAA and that they'll be going to court soon.
Then do that, and refuse any settlement offer.
