J "F" Kerry

Flirting with treason, again, which I suppose is better than his history of wholly embracing it. Perhaps he's learned... nothing, obviously.

  1. It is related to the redefinition of patriotism from "what is good for America" to "what we think is good for all mankind." Because what kind of horrible person would want to see his country's interests promoted over that of humanity in general? If you are a Red Sox fan, don't you really want to see what is good for baseball prevail? And not only baseball, but sports in general? And not just sports per se, but fitness, health, and overall well-being for all the peoples of the world, so really, you want to be communist.

So too with treason. It can't be treason treason, to echo Whoopi Goldberg, because he wants good things for all mankind, you ignorant bastard. This is the vision that will eventually bring an end to all war, so you must actually like war if you oppose it.

I exaggerate only slightly. Try suggesting to any liberal friends that this does meet the technical definition of treason and see what you get as a reason that it is not.

  2. John Kerry, Secret Agent?

Perhaps for the Intelligence Organization of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps?

Nah, probably not, at least not on purpose. It's at least as likely that it was Kerry's self-absorbed superiority complex that led him to betray Israel and our nation. Zarif's astonishment would certainly be an addictive ego stroke for a man like Kerry.

Just as addictive as the ego strokes from the...sacrifices...he makes over the course of all of his virtue-signaling antics.

  3. I could spare some sympathy for a man who genuinely believed he had to sacrifice his country to save the world. It would be excruciating, and he might have to die rather than violate his conscience.

John Kerry doesn't measure up. With some people, it's just a reflexive need to put a finger in the eye of the power structure he lives within. Any vaguely competing interest, even one he doesn't take very seriously the rest of the time, will do as an excuse. In other words, transgressive theater, without either personal consequences or genuine moral weight. If the polls turned against climate hype, he'd drop it in a flash.
