Name one single scandal in Obama's administration that he didn't claim to have learned about in the press :p
Every time people go on and on about Trump's lies, I think of that one - repeated over and over again, even after it came out that he and his administration did in fact know about it long before the press did - and just shake my head.
Of course two wrongs don't make a right. My point is more the selective application of standards.
That has been the real scales-falling-from-our-eyes issue, these last few years. IRS targeting, Fast and Furious, Clinton ‘mid year examination,’ contrasted with the full-fledged efforts to destroy anyone and everyone. As cynical as I thought I was about the Federal government, the truth has consistently shown that I was far too generous.
Barr continues to impress. Probably will prove to be Trump's best appointment.
ReplyDeleteHe's a clear-thinking man.
ReplyDeleteObama assured us in very specific terms that this was not the case.
ReplyDeleteOf course, he also assured us he only learned about Hillary's illegal email in the press, even though he had emailed her at that address himself.
"POTUS wants to know everything we're doing."
