I literally could only care a little less for the University of Georgia, and their athletics. But those dogs, I love. PETA are a bunch of annoying concern trolls.
The 30-something granddaughter of a friend has turned vegan. However, she doesn't impose her views on her meat-loving sons and husband. She cooks meat for them, and will cook a Thanksgiving turkey for her clan. Which points out the hostility many vegans experience has to do not with their food choices, but with the desire of many vegans to impose their food choices on others.
One of her sons also has some meat prohibitions. By virtue of his great-grandmother (my friend), he is of Jewish ancestry and has decided to follow the Jewish faith. The other seven of his great-grandparents were British Isles Protestants in origin. He was Bar Mitvahed in Israel, where various relatives live. He accordingly doesn't eat pork, a prohibition which the rest of his family has followed. (His younger brother, on the other hand, has no desire to follow the Bar Mitzvah route.)
Her grandmother doesn't believe her granddaughter's vegan phase will last. I concur.

It is a phase that often does not last.
Humanity has been in darkness for a long time. It's about time people woke up to the spiritual truth, and that includes meat lovers and tree lovers hehe.
Gringo definitely has the research and IQ skills to figure this one out, given the links. I was quite amazed at his due diligence in previous research topics I had, such as Southern slave plantation primary source documents.
PETA can blow it out their... donkey.
ReplyDeleteOMG... Grandpunk/son #1 will have a cow. He loves UGA.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I am pretty sure the city of Athens GA would go into a massive decline.
I have no idea how old Uga is; maybe it is time to retire him.
ReplyDeleteAnd replace him with Uga XI.
Or maybe get him a couple of consort dogs. And meaty chew toys all around, because we don't want to dis PETA by leaving them out.
