There's a line in one of Thomas Pynchon's novels, describing a Dutch man who becomes a WWII Resistance leader: "A neutral man finally goaded past his limit."

Good. Something finally was the straw that broke the camels back with Graham. I think they may regret turning him from friendly adversary to enemy.
