The Year of the Dog


My father was born in the Year of the Dog. He would have been 72. The Chinese cycle is 12 years long, so when it's your year, your age will be divisible by 12 that year.

    For what it's worth, I'm a horse.

    Of course, Chinese astrology also suggests my wife and I, being six years apart, and so she a Rat, are a poor match.

    Somehow we've made it work.
