A former employer,a very successful entrepreneur, was a big Jimmy Buffet fan. When Jimmy Buffet played nearby, he would purchase a block of front row seats. While he didn't spend his time "wasted away in Margaritaville," he liked hearing about it in a song.
I've always liked Buffet's music, ever since I heard "Cheeseburger in Paradise" as a kid. He's got a lot of good stuff and I get the feeling he doesn't take himself too seriously, an admirable quality in an entertainer.
