Rubio 2020

It'll take him the four years to grow this thing out, but then he's a shoe-in.

  1. Taft was the last US President to have facial hair at all (mustache). The last to have a full beard was Benjamin Harrison. It's been 123 years since we had a bearded President. Ben Carson was the only candidate this season to run with facial hair, and that makes him an absolute rarity among candidates. I think most candidates would be afraid to appear on the campaign trail with one.

  3. Well, Mike, all I can say is that we don't need cowards for President.

  4. My cat has abundant facial hair, and I am pretty sure she would make a better president than what we have now.

  5. I don't know. Cats are strongly inclined towards tyranny.

This one is pretty friendly in general, and when antagonized, let's the potential consequences be known, prior to unleashing a shred-a-thon attack. Kills once in a while, just to keep the rodents in line, but mostly likes to lay in front of the woodstove and do no harm. She likes to accompany me on walks in the woods, but seeks no trouble.
There is little chance she would have attacked Libya, for example.

Definitely has the Civil War General appearance.

  8. He'd certainly be a much more interesting candidate this way.

For the record, I have chin whiskers pretty much all but for 4-6 weeks out of the year. I cut all of my hair off (to include the beard) about that often, and it generally only takes a week for the beard to return.
