ReplyDeleteI do care that he didn't mention our guys kidnapped by the Iranians and held on Farsi Island in the Arabian Gulf.
The least he could have said is the the island has been electronically and physically isolated, and recovery operations are underway.

I care about what another man might have said. Anything he'd have had to say on the subject I'd have to dismiss as lies. It's better he kept his silence.

ReplyDeleteI caught this by accident. When he got to the part praising our wonderful military and its successes, the camera panned to some very grim-looking senior officers. I knew they were sitting through a Twilight episode.

I read a statement on a blog by a former seal Officer- he states categorically there was no way this was a breakdown or a case of straying off course- that it was a deliberate slap in the face, in International waters, conducted by a faster and more heavily armed opponent. True or not I do not know, but it sounded accurate.
ReplyDeletenow that I have seen a few pictures of the Iranian boats, (of unknown veracity) I makes me wonder if the US crew was ordered to surrender. Something is damned strange about this.
