We have had several dachs. They are hysterical to watch run in snow, and I have more than once thought how wonderful it would be to have a team of them.
Thanks - you made my day! I have been bugging the Spousal Unit for a puppy for Christmas. 3 grandchildren and a brand new puppy - what could *possibly* go wrong?
I had a wonderful German Shepherd. I taught her to play a game called "Pine Cone." I would pick up a pine cone and toss it in the air, and she would catch it and gnash it to pieces. Then I'd find another. It was her favorite thing in the world. :)
Funny! I'm stealing it

ReplyDeleteI can't think of any reason you shouldn't have a puppy for Christmas. :)
ReplyDeleteExactly what I keep telling my beloved spouse :p
ReplyDeleteYou have my permission to have a puppy for Christmas.
ReplyDeleteAnd Ymar, that's just what I was thinking, too!

ReplyDeleteMaybe that's why you had so many "tree rats" as you termed it, hanging around, Grim.
