Disarming Demoncrats while arming up loyalist factions and civilian security forces in cities like Chicago, would be a good deployment of COIN, but not even the most extreme or nationalistic sentiments of American patriotism, were keen on that.
They refused to treat their American traitors as enemies, even as the Left waged an unrelenting war on humanity and on America.
People will believe whatever they want to be true. Or fear to be true.

Regarding the linked-to article, I'm down with Democrats (and Progressives, and Liberals generally) staying unarmed while the rest of us arm up.
Still, as noted above, there is a definite marketing opportunity there, regarding women--at least those who survive the buttercups' war on them.
