You can right-click on the image and open it in a new tab. Then CTL-+ (CONTROL and the Plus key simultaneously) will expand the tab (and everything in it). Repeat CTL-+ until it gets to a readable size.
The process can be reversed with CTL-- (CONTROL and the Minus key simultaneously).
This works for Palemoon and Firefox, I _think_ it works in IE, also.
I get about 16.
