Lyrics like that are pretty commonplace these days, sadly. And there's quite a market for them.
Of course none of this means anything :p It's not like it's a sign of some festering sickness, or perhaps dangerous in some way.
Without (and I'm quite serious about this) wanting to seem like I'm criticizing Eric Blair for his post about sick police t-shirts (because I'm not - having raised these kinds of concerns myself many times over the year and having been told to get over it, I can understand his concern), if that's a sign of a real problem, why isn't the success of artists like Eminem?
Please pardon the cri de coeur here, but I often wonder why this sort of thing is just shrugged off?
