Frankly, beyond some macro characteristics, like the results of her mastectomy and her shortness, I couldn't describe my wife's physical appearance at all--what does her chin look like? No chance. That's not what I see when I look at her.
I couldn't describe myself, or anyone else, for a sketch, either, largely for the same reasons.
Sent it to my wife. She claims that her mother and I are "just biased" when we say she's pretty. It IS true that I am biased, but it's not JUST that I'm biased.
I started to post a comment an another thread last week about raising a daughter in today's culture, but decided not to for a vast many reasons. The VES, in her on-going quest to gain peer approval has become very subconscious about many things going on with her body. Her physical appearance being the main thing on which she obsesses. I can't wait to show her this. Hopefully, it will help to open her eyes as to what a beautiful young lady she is becoming. Thank you, Grim. 0>;~}
