I tried to envision a version of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof where a lego balls machine substituted for the Dixie Stars in the backstory...and then I thought better of it.
I'll have to show that to my son to see what he thinks- I know he likes Rube Goldbergian contraptions. This at least would be good training for a future in Mechanical Engineering.
No evident purpose? Why clearly, the purpose isto move those balls from here to there. And back.

I'm afraid that the amusement value of watching a machine run wears out pretty quickly. Football is spontaneous.
ReplyDeleteWhat Grim said... Not to mention the just because mosheen does make a lot of clackety clanky racket.

Ach, you philistines. I could watch that all day, just taking pleasure in the imagination that dreamed up the different mechanisms.
ReplyDeleteSure, but could you go on to watch it again all day tomorrow? :)

ReplyDeleteThe same one? No. Could you watch the same football game over and over again? I couldn't even watch it the first time. Different interests!
