Curiosity

A great name for a space probe, Curiosity landed on Mars either yesterday or this morning depending on where you live.

NASA seems pleased. It looks like they got the old Babylon 5 folks to do their graphics.

    Given the tremendous number of opportunities for this plan to catastophically fail- it's a pretty impressive accomplishment.

    It's too bad they didn't edit in the animations during the live broadcast- my kids wanted to stay up late (and it's Summer) and watch, but were a bit disappointed in the long control room shots being the bulk of it.
