That is indeed the very fellow. He's loving the weather. Last night he stayed out all night deer-hunting, the season for which is much less restricted for our four-paw'd brethren.
Pollen count in the thousands? And almost double digit at that?! Holy yellow-coated metal, Batman! And here I was feeling miserable due to our 400 pollen count.
*sniiifffffff* I love the smell of perspective in the morning! heh 0>;~}
Ha! The pollen saturation is easing up today. Twas only in the 5k-6k ppm range.
Just breathing outside leaves the palate with a coating that imparts a beer boutique fru fru-ish flavor on the average lager one might use as an emergency mouth wash. Alpine Resin™, blended in the south. Mmmmm Mmmmmm.
Ah, the piney South! My senior year in college (Atlanta area) the pines went for the glory. We swept yellow drifts off the dorm porches and even those of us with plain old dust allergies sounded terrible.
Pine trees hell, the real killer is dogwoods. I don't know why, but they just SPRAY pollen everywhere. My wife actually got her car as bronze in order to better hide the pollen. Cause like Grim said, there's no point in washing it during this time of year.

Yeah, I washed the wife's truck windows yesterday. Now it looks like the whole truck is crying big yellow tears.
ReplyDeleteI'd wash the rest of it, but for a few days, it'd just be wasting my time.
