A Clever Review

The Economist has a good line, at least, in its review of this new book on physics:
Popular physics has enjoyed a new-found regard.  Now comes a brave attempt to inject mathematics into an otherwise fashionable subject.

    It will be a while before I shell out 20 pounds for a lay description of physics. I am glad to see that some math is used, such as algebra, which most people are passingly familiar with.

    I just read a biography of Richard Feynman, "Genius", by Gleick. It is an excellent book that gives as good an exposition of quantum theory as anyone, and is very entertaining.
