You may have seen this version of the song, sung live with Patty Loveless at George Jone's funeral- a truly remarkably emotional performance. He is overcome partway through, unable to sing, Patty backstops the vocals perfectly, and he regains composure playing an outstanding acoustic guitar solo, letting the guitar do the singing.
