Accurate

Reps. Andy Biggs (R-AZ) and Chip Roy (R-TX) spoke against gun control Wednesday on Capitol Hill and stressed that gun rights are God-given for the purpose of not simply defending self, but defending liberty.

Biggs said, “The Founders of this country…recognized the Second Amendment in the Bill of Rights.” He described their intention by saying, “You have a right to defend yourself against wrongdoers and also against a tyrannical government.”

He added, “That’s what the Second Amendment is about.”
Good to see someone in Congress knows that.

That’s what the Second Amendment is about.

It's one of the mechanisms for defending and enforcing a right and a duty articulated in our Declaration of Independence. Too many folks want to take that away from us, some for malicious reason, most (I hope) from ignorance. The one has to be eradicated; the other can be corrected.

Americans would do well to obtain some more tools other than those very overt gun stuff.

Target Focus Training and other tools cannot be disarmed, unless somebody literally removes your arms and legs.

Metal detectors are ineffective as well... unless again all your arms and limbs have metal in them and need to be removed first.

I am a big fan of "covert" over overt. Which is perhaps why people like concealed carry vs open carry.

The general assumption is almost Leftist like in naivete. They believe that unless they get the biggest baddest munition, that they won't be able to stand up to the SWAT teams and other death squads. Well, that's not exactly tactically sound to begin with. A guerilla campaign, like the Warsaw episode, starts with unarmed agents getting close to Nazi guards, killing them unarmed, and then taking their weapons. Now you have gun, yes?
