Grim's Hall

Some of you expressed thoughts about the place, including a request for photographs. Here are a few that give the sense of the place. You can see how much it resembles what you had thought it would look like.

Dragon's breath at sunrise.

Very close to what I had imagined. I missed the waterfall potential. :)

Very pretty country. Is this the southern end of the Appalachians? I was in N. Georgia this week, to visit family and the terrain was very similar. We took a walk up Apalachicola Falls.
The fireplace looks inviting. It will be a blessing in the winter!

Beautiful, but I must've been really tired when you first posted about the move. I thought the blog was moving.

Is the roof thatch? ;)

It is, Raven. You came to Georgia at a good time. In a few weeks it’ll be hot, and even this week it’ll hit 90, but last week was nice.

The roof is not thatch.

It is a beautiful area. I moved to southeast Tennessee about 6 years ago, 30 minutes or less from Georgia.

Looks magnificent. That Rumsford style fireplace should project heat out into the room well. Glad to see you found a more than suitable place after all the looking. Magnificent view.
