More Cultural Appropriation

I think they may be appropriating us, actually, but whatever. Maybe that's all to the good.

If you don't know the artist, she went on to be somebody. Cultural appropriation was a big part of that.

Linguistic note. She occasionally used click consonants because her Bantu-group language included a few. Other groups use many types of clicks. These are likely not added in - they are hard to learn after toddlerhood, and therefore must have dropped out of other language groups early on. They carry well at night and when people are out of sight of each other, and were thus very probably part of mankind's fist language. Our ancestors all used click consonants, but most dropped them long before they left Africa. (There is slight evidence that one early group of exiters might have preserved a click or two.)
