Ace of Spades

Actually it's a shovel, not a spade.

Unless the shape of the head of that has been modified, I'd say it's a spade, even though it's got a D-handle. Too small to be effective at scooping material up (which is what a shovel is for). I'm going to go out on a limb and say it's either a tree planting spade, a slightly wide trenching spade, or an edging spade.

Nitpick for the day.

A question for the philosophers-
If a shovel can be made into a Kalashnikov, and a guitar made from a shovel, can a Kalashnikov be made into a guitar? Or will it always remain a "Chicago piano"? :)

Where I come from, we call them all "shovels," but are aware that the pointy ones are technically "spades." I suppose, though, that any of them that is designed for digging is a spade.

Come on, guys. Can't we just call a spade a spade?

Now, if he did this with a hoe, we could have ourselves a real live hoedown. All of us rakes would have a good old time.

"Mother, mother," said the young novice, "those workmen outside my window are very disturbing."

"Young novice," said the Mother Superior, "those are rough men working a hard job, and sometimes they call a spade a spade."

"Oh, no Mother. They don't call a spade a spade. They call it a 'f**king shovel'!"

I don't know what's better, the skill involved in turning a shovel into a guitar or the wit in the comments. Well, maybe that was a little strong, but witty comments nonetheless.

I bet Lemmy would have laughed his ass off at that.

Just thinking about raven's question, you know, an AK would really only work for a lefty-handed player. No, really. The charging handle would be in the way on the right.
