Can We Stop This?

John McCain is wrong: Barack Obama is at most indirectly responsible for ISIS. Anything inspired by ISIS, he's indirectly indirectly responsible for.

Guilt can be divided without being lessened, it's true. But Orlando wasn't done by Christians, it wasn't done by the NRA, and it wasn't done by Barack Obama either.

Not that Obama is covering himself with glory today, doing his best to blame Orlando apparently on people like me.

A pox on all their houses.

McCain is collaborating with his captives in torturing his fellow Americans.

I wonder if he even realizes it. The power of DC is great in capturing the hearts of humans with those chains.

As for ISIL. They were formed from Libyan arms and training received from US funding and agents, via Turkey and Qatar.

As for who is responsible, CIA and State Department would be the natural active branches for those kinds of operations.

Hussein was more directly responsible for Iraq's fragmentation, however, but that came later when ISIL consolidated in Syria (with even more funding and training from the US, to oust Syrian leadership) and then invaded Iraq and captured a lot of US hardware. Given Arab maintenance, they wouldn't be able to use much of it, but the Chinese and Russians would have paid quite a good amount for intact pieces of US hardware and software. And if they make a mistake trying to crack through one, they had plenty of spares.

Those who defend the easy accessibility of assault weapons, should meet these families and explain why that makes sense....

Those who would deny us the easy accessibility of the means to defend ourselves--Obama, for instance, and Schumer, and Pelosi, and Murphy, and on and on, ad nauseum should meet these families and explain why that makes sense.

Oh, wait--Obama did "meet" the families, and he cried his crocodile tears, and out of his mouth drooled his words of faux sympathy, while he used the tragedy to make his political hay--not about stopping terrorism, but for disarming us all. All except the terrorists, the thugs, the ordinary mass murderers. And his Progressive government.

While the cops were responding--a good response--the killing went on. While the cops were making their penetration, the killing went on. Had the first responders--the citizens on the scene, the patrons of the bar, the passersby on the street outside--been armed, the patrons inside could have mitigated the friendly casualty rate a very great deal. Armed passersby could have reinforced the one cop who just happened to be there and greatly mitigated the friendly casualty rate.

But no--the Left demands we not be armed so that the terrorists, the thugs, the ordinary mass murderers--and the Progressive government--can have their gun-free zones in which to play.

Those folks on the Left know this full well--they are, after all, our Betters, they know better than us; Obama is the best policy guy of all. This sort of thing is just a particularly, proximately murderous example of their dishonesty.
