What Did She Say?

During a Thursday discussion in Connecticut on gun violence, Hillary Clinton agreed with an audience member that “joining a gang is like having a family.” Then she suggested an alternative: “positive gangs.”
You mean like a militia?

Clubs. Those are clubs.

I don't have any problem with the idea that a non-governmental organization of armed individuals with fraternal ties can be a good thing. I'm just surprised to hear it from her. What happens if this 'little battalions' thing gets out of hand? Nothing outside of the state, right?

The gang a person belongs to IS a "good gang", by default.

Or a church? Or the Scouts? I often wonder at the inability to see any choices between stark individualism and statism, as if human beings didn't have lots and lots of private, voluntary institutions to bring them together.

Things are progressing exceedingly on task if HRC thinks she needs good gangs on her side. The Left needs more enforcers now of all times, than any other time in their history.

As for motorcycle bike clubs, their politics I don't particularly like or want to know about. If they want to be free, however, they will have to consider when to stop Obeying Orders from the federal regime. When they make a choice, they might find closer allies than they expect.
