Of course, that's the standard for when the President is trying to get Islamic terrorists to stay off airplanes. Once the power expands to keeping his political enemies unarmed, I assume that an already-terrible standard will become unimaginably worse.
Also, you have to give up your data to the State. For security. As someone whose every secret was hacked in the OPM data theft, I find that hilarious. But of course, it's not my security they care about.

Frankly, I can't see how this has passed scrutiny of the courts to keep people from travelling freely without so much as a judge signing off on it, but as I was bombarded with in the recent "you are a monster" discussion on social media, apparently "due process" apparently doesn't have to mean a trial, a warrant, or indeed, any legal action whatsoever. Due process can consist of "this guy thinks you're shady". So long as they take the time to draw up a process that elucidates what it takes to be considered "shady".
Steven F. Hayes is on the watchlist b/c he and his wife took a vacation trip to Turkey, then went on to Athens.
So I guess he doesn't have any Constitutional rights worth protecting either :p
Well, why would a journalist who writes about international affairs need to fly anywhere?
My favorite part about the No Fly List is that they won't even tell you if they've removed you from it. The only way to find out is to buy an airline ticket and try to fly somewhere.
Good pickup on that use of the word "security." It's their security they are talking about, including their job security.
Leftists obey orders. The idea most people have is that they use logic and are somehow inconsistent in their policies and beliefs. Chuckles. What fools humans are.
When a person obeys orders, it doesn't matter what they think about an issue. That's not how it works. When the Left's unified hierarchy demands that guns be eliminated, the Leftist will obey. When a Republican is in power, if ever, and a Leftist is told that he is a fascist trying to use government power to take away civil liberties, against the Leftist Will Obey.
What's funny is how people are naive enough to attempt to reframe the issue to their own preferences rather than looking at the stark reality. Then again, maybe that's why they are blind.
