I love that article - there's a lot of wisdom on how to be creative in there. It always kills me when I have students who aren't really interested in research and discovery- just getting a grade. They need to see the importance, and frankly, joy of a passionate search of the unknown.

My personal experience has been shadowed by those Researchers for whom the beauty and joy is in the process and not the discovery. Unfortunately they seem to be everywhere and unavoidable in the scientific professions. Some day I hope to be able to table my own projects and still get them past the review boards and other gate keepers.... Until then...
