Summer is the Angry Time

Not much to love about heat and humidity, even when things aren't hard as they are for millions of our brother and sister Americans this summer.  Good time for some angry blues.

I do not understand this hate of summer you keep bringing up. I am sure you don't live in a place that is any hotter than Southern Mississippi is/was and summer was still one of my favorite seasons. No school, a lot of fishing, and swimming. Good times.

You don't understand hating hitting yellow jackets on the motorcycle, having them get into your shirt and sting the crap out of you?

This sort of thing just doesn't happen in November.

Actually, today was a very good day. I got up at 5:30 AM, sawed a white oak tree I'd felled into logs and split it up for winter firewood. Had a good family trip to a park on the bikes, and then a cookout in the evening.

However, I hear it's going to be 100 degrees on Friday.

To the side of which -- what do you think of the music?

I have experienced bees and yellow jackets down the sleeve or caught in the helmet. Still, riding in the summer beats the winter and requires less clothes than spring and fall.

I did like the music. Thanks for sharing.
